Every corner tells a story of craftsmanship and culture. In the afternoon, you will return to your riad to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of this ancient city.

Today you will leave Fez and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. You will stop in Ifrane, often called the «Switzerland of Morocco», known for its clean streets and alpine style. Continuing through the cedar forests near Azrou, you can see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. The road then opens onto the beautiful Ziz Valley, lined with thousands of palm trees and small villages, before you reach your hotel near the desert.

Day 4: To the Sahara Desert of Merzouga.

In the morning, you will head to Merzouga, where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rise from the horizon. In the afternoon, you will ride a camel across the sand as the sun slowly sets, painting the sky in warm colors. You will have dinner under the stars at your desert camp and listen to traditional music around the fire, surrounded by silence and endless dunes.

Day 5: From Merzouga to Rissani and the Todra Gorges.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then return to the village by camel or 4×4. After breakfast, head to Rissani, an old trading town with a traditional market atmosphere.

We will continue to the impressive Todra Gorges, where the high canyon walls rise dramatically above a flowing river. We will spend the night near the gorges.

Day 6: From the Todra Gorges to the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses.

After a morning walk in the gorges, take the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. You will pass small Berber villages, palm groves and the Valley of Roses, famous for its fragrant rose products in spring.
