This 2-day, 1-night trip from Marrakech to the Zagora desert is a great way to discover southern Morocco in a short time. You will cross the High Atlas, visit the kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate, drive through the Draa Valley via Agdz and ride a camel over the dunes of Zagora. You will spend the night in a Berber camp, enjoying the sound of the drums and the customs and traditions of the Berbers, the native people of North Africa. Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou – Zagora

We pick you up at your hotel at 7 a.m. We leave for Ouarzazate and visit the kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou, cross the Anti-Atlas range and drive through the Draa Valley. Lunch on your own along the way. We arrive in Zagora, where your camels are waiting to take you into the heart of the Sahara Desert. Dinner under the stars and overnight in traditional Berber tents.

Day 2: Zagora – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

A wonderful opportunity to watch the beautiful spectacle of sunrise over a sea of dunes. Breakfast in the desert and departure through the Draa Valley, the largest in Morocco, towards Agdz and Ouarzazate. Visit to the Taourirt kasbah, built of adobe with crenellated towers. Lunch on your own along the way. Arrival in Marrakech. End of the excursion.
