Tour itinerary

Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

Your adventure begins in Tangier, a vibrant port city where the Atlantic and the Mediterranean meet. After a short orientation, we will head south through the Rif Mountains, where you will enjoy views that bring the first chapter of your Moroccan story to life. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Chefchaouen, the magical Blue City. Stroll through its winding alleys, taste the local mint tea and watch the light turn everything blue at sunset.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez.

Today we descend from the cool mountains into Morocco’s history. The first stop is Volubilis, a remarkable Roman site where ancient mosaics still whisper stories of an empire. After exploring the site, we will have lunch in Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, before reaching Fez. At sunset, the old medina of Fez becomes a maze of stories waiting to be discovered.

Day 3: Guided tour of Fez.

This day is dedicated to exploring Fez with an expert local guide. Step into the ancient medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and discover its rich cultural tapestry: the oldest university in the world, the traditional tanneries and hidden craft workshops. You will feel like a local as you sip spiced tea and wander its narrow cobbled alleys.

Day 4: Fez - Middle Atlas - Sahara Desert (Merzouga).

A long but rewarding drive awaits you through the Middle Atlas, passing cedar forests and mountain villages before reaching the vast dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga. There you will ride a camel and gather with other travelers around a campfire as the sun goes down. Tonight you will sleep under an ocean of stars.

Day 5: Sunrise in the Sahara Desert → Todra and Dadès Gorges.

We will get up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, a moment that many travelers say defines their experience in Morocco. Then we will continue through the Ziz Valley and its rugged canyons. The Todra and Dades gorges offer impressive cliffs and peaceful corners, perfect for reflection and photography.

Day 6: Valley of Roses → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech.

On the last stage of the trip, we will explore the palm-lined valley of Skoura, and cross the landscapes of Ouarzazate that have served as the setting for many films. The fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the highlights before crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Marrakech, where its lively streets, markets and colors will welcome you at the end of this unforgettable six-day trip from Tangier to Marrakech.
