Ifrane, Azrou and cedar forest excursion from Fez

Morning departure from your accommodation in Fez towards the south. After passing through the village of Imouzzer, we will climb into the Middle Atlas to reach Ifrane, at 1,650 meters. You will stroll through its clean streets and gardens, among Alpine-style houses built in the 1930s, and take a photo with the famous stone lion, the symbol of the town. Then we will continue to the Azrou cedar forest, one of the largest in the country, home to the Barbary macaques: you can see them up close and photograph them, without feeding them. We will also visit the town of Azrou, with its souk of Berber crafts and, if there is time, the lakes of the area such as Dayet Aoua. Free lunch and return to Fez in the afternoon.
