Agafay desert excursion from Marrakech

We pick you up at your riad or hotel in Marrakech in the early afternoon and head south, through the palm grove and the villages of the Haouz plain. In about 40 minutes we reach the Agafay desert, a lunar landscape of stony hills and golden earth with the High Atlas Mountains on the horizon. Your camel will be waiting for a ride of about an hour among the hills, as the sun sets and the landscape changes color. Then you will reach the camp, where you will have mint tea and can relax on the sofas or the terrace. In the evening you will enjoy a traditional dinner of Moroccan salads, tagine and fruit, with Berber music by the fire. After dinner, return to Marrakech, arriving at your accommodation around 10 p.m.
